What's on my iPod? In what ways does my iPod represent me?

What’s on my iPod?

As I walk down the street blasting Jay-Z’s “99 problems” through my candy pink Skullcandy headphones with the bass pounding on my sensitive eardrums, I feel untouchable. Music is a God given gift, but assume that you can get to know me by looking through the files on my iPod, not a chance. Cynical, sarcastic and ironic is probably the first thing that would come to someone’s mind when they scan through my pictures. The colorful, funny, uplifting cartoons tickle my lips into a smile and coax a bubble of laughter out of my mouth. I guess you could call it my daily fix of chocolate without all the calories. My games are somewhat individual apart from some popular games occasionally dotting the screen. Games and Apps are mainly there to keep me organized or entertain me. A game where a unicorn shoots a rainbow laser out of its eyes just agitates me, I want to keep myself busy and have fun without having to numb my brain. Speaking about my brain, my music is nowhere near the level of complexity stored in my cranium. The only characteristic that I share with my iPod is that we both contain a mix of everything. My music was chosen for the purpose of making me feel good or the days where you have God’s hand as long as your earplugs are pounding in your ears. My music wasn’t chosen because I find that the songs represent me, I just like listening to them. But the main reason why my iPod doesn’t represent me is that my or anyone’s character and personality is far too rich and sophisticated to ever match the contents of an electronic device.
